Anger often arises in moments when life does not move the way we want it to — when we sense that our needs for safety, respect, ease, or understanding are threatened or unmet. In those moments, many of us reach for control, either outwardly through blame and demands, or inwardly through tension, self-judgment, or suppression. In this short workshop, we will explore how anger and control are not problems to get rid of, but signals inviting deeper listening and care. You will learn how to recognize when you are moving into control, how to meet anger with compassion instead of fear or shame, and how to reconnect with the life-serving needs underneath strong emotions.

  • 3 session, 60 mins

Ever found yourself saying, “I was trying to be empathic,” only to be met with a confused stare, a tense silence, or a full-on emotional meltdown? We will explore the oh-so-human moments when our well-intentioned empathy goes sideways. We’ll uncover the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways we miss each other — and how to repair, reconnect, and even grow from those moments.

  • 6 sessions, 60 mins each

It is often easy to err on the extremes of either being assertive about our boundaries or letting people walk all over us. However, this course is based on the principle, "Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously". This course dives into holding others and our needs with care, without which we can end up with resentment.

Using multiple modalities, we offer tailor-made courses, virtually and in-person, to suit your family or community’s needs.
